I don’t know a lot about fashion. One of my professors in college once told the class at the end of the year, “If your pants have belt loops, wear a belt.” This was part of a short list of insights that he wanted to share with us before the course was over. Another tidbit was “It’s unhealthy to regularly drink soda,” and, “Anti-bacterial hand soap does more harm than good.” This was a Latin class and those tidbits are the sum total of what I retain today from that entire semester. Basically what I’m saying is that Latin is still dead and it’s not coming back soon.
