long time reader; first time poster – i’ll admit it took longer than usual – somehow i thought the cop was like a security guard and didn’t recognize him from Dad (#4!) in Frame 1. duh.
On the topic of the hidden panels: not only did I prefer the “challenge” of finding where the hyperlink was, but I loved that it’s location was always somewhere that was mildly to very significant to the comic’s meaning/humor. Ie, characters’ heads, hands, weapons, slugs, crotches etc etc.
Now it’s a questionmark off to the side. easier to find (boring) and no potential extra fifth or sixth layer of humor (boring.)
